Memoirs and
Musings
After writing verse for many years, and also painting pictures,
mostly for friends, Rand thought that perhaps it was time to bring
them together in one format.
Some of the poems relate to living life
in the prairies during the hard times, and how she feels about
life in general. Despite
the ups and downs of life, she has come to believe that we only have
what we give away, so it is up to us to try and make the world a
better place. In doing this, we also bring contentment and
happiness to ourselves.

always encouraged me to keep writing and painting, especially Michael

Every
Life has a Story
This is a story of the author's journey through life, much of
itlived at a simpler time of life, when even hitch hiking was
considered safe. Although many
names have been changed, the stories are true.
She tells about the
many people she has met on her journey, and the friends she has made. It
is only now as she reminisces about the past, that she feels that their stories
would make interesting reading for others.
